Default sky plus and av sender

i have 1 television in lounge connected to sky plus and one in another room upstairs if i buy a av sender will i be able change the channels upstairs also do i have to use a coax cable with av sender when connecting av sender to tv upstairs

Yes you will be able to change channels.

No coax required - its all wireless.

If you have a wireless sender get a 5GHz model as the normal ones use the same frequency band as the routers (2.4GHz) and suffer dreadful interference from them.
