Why Only 2 meg Macs not 10/20 meg

Why Only 2 meg Macs not 10/20 meg
i have a sb 5100 with sigma x 142 ive been through a whole load of MAC's but they all seem to run at 256 or 2 meg. How can i tell which mac is 10 or 20 meg as ive been through pages and pages.
Help will be much appreciated. My connection is very slow with these macs im using.

ive beenthrough pages and pages and got nothing not even a 2meg so what ive been reading is just keep at it and you should find what your after

Are you in dynamic area? You giving modem time to get new config? I always reboot modem twice when i found a working mac to double check im not using an old config. Might help...
