Since last post i have found nothing but crap, just calculators and stuff, so thanks!!

How will i be able to tell what mb(speeds) they are capable of before assigning it to the hacked modem.

most areas (all areas?) are now dynamic, that is the config values cant be seen so only way to know is to try it.

If the router has got an option to expose an IP to the internet then it could work. I know my last router had that option.

do i need to have the bootfile save checked? also i am hard wired through a powerline/homeplug, will this still work or do i need to be hard wired straight into the modem?

worked with powerlines. i had to do a bruteforce because without to slow. did it only for 20-30sec and it found me about 50 macs. saved it with bootfile checked, but all i got was a txt file.

now how do i check their speed limits without having to load them onto the modem..meaning anything i can do on my computer(winxp).

modem still on its way, and do not have the tools yet (programmer etc..).
