need to go to each house where modem will be staying and go in to the haxo gui and reset to factory state then reboot modem after reboot enter your ds frequency and hit save and reboot as this will now give it a new up stream frequency this fixes this problem 99% of the time for me hopefully this should get you up and running

This is an easy one You need to chnage the NIC mac on the other house. Or even better try using The mac from the PC that wont work,

Do this. Get the "NIC" mac from the house were the modem wont work and set it as yours in your house then see if it works I bet you it wont, Knowing this you can now find a NIC mac thats works then transfer it to the other house. Good luck

You had no business 'selling loads' of modems then.

Sell loads = everyone including hobbyists goes off.

fnr this post was 2weeks old and yes i did sell about 10 2 family a friends because some idiot was selling them for a ton and i seen them on flea bay for a 1/4 of the price so you cant tell me none of use have done the same, the profit was not the reason because it wasnt worth doing with the price of broadband been so cheap,so you call about £50 for driving rnd getting macs 2 help family/friends the worst crime in the world, well am sorry i dont have the time 2 bother earning a tenner for the hastle,i thought i was doing them a favour!!
