Doing a factory reset/delete all channels then doing a full deep scan will bring all your channels back. You then need to sort them into alphabetical order through the channel manager, then select your favourites through menu/channels/add favourites, then sort your favourites into an order you like through menu/channels/favourite manager. That's the procedure on an EX5000PVR so I assume they're all about the same.

I have a question for you mate. You have that stupid signature asking people to hit the thanks button and even telling them the direction it is in, but I see that you have not thanked that many people by hitting the button, why? Just curious, as I do not see why people want to get thanked all the time, must be something to do with their ego, but I find that very few of them thank people in return.

Regards Wez

Hi Wez. I guess it's because I'm a rarity here and know how to use the search button. I don't (or at least try not to) start repeat posts asking the same old questions over and over again, tend to be able to sort most problems I have by myself and try to help more people than I ask for help from, if that makes sense. In my defence if I have ever been helped I have always thanked the helper and, where possible, linked to their answer if I have been able to if it would help anyone else.

Basically I like to think I give more than I take, but if that part of my signature offends you then I'll remove it.

If I have ever caused you, or anyone else, any offence by anything I may have said or done, then I apologise unreservedly.

Try scanning on different symbol rate, if you look here you can find the right one for your area. It's the last 4 numbers you need. For example, Bedford ex NTL is 6.887.

Hope that helps.
