ive got the ex1100usb in the living room which if i connected an av sender to could watch the channels i recieve through the eurovox on a tv in the bedroom and also change the channel. |

Yes, that's how it works but you can but you can only view one (the same) channel on both televisions.

If you google "AV sender" you will find loads of information. Argos sell a set that may do what you need, but if I were you I'd look into it a bit more.
Your best bet may be to split the wire downstairs, run one to the Virgin box and one to the Eurovox. This way, you can watch different channels on each set, using the original remote controls.

Having had a quick look into your problem it seems that some Virgin boxes will work with an AV sender and some won't. Google "AV sender for ***** cable box" (where ***** is the name of your Virgin box) and have a look through the results.
It seems that there is a lot of information out there, just a case of looking.

dont buy a 2.4ghz sender they are crap and everything interferes with them, a 5ghz one will be better but more expensive.
