Question modem splitter issues

hi there, in the past ive run my sub modem along side any test modems off the same splitter and they have worked fine side by side, but ive noticed since all we all being enabling bpi over last few weeks, i can only get one modem to run at a time, even if i try 2 modded modems its the same result.

has any1 else noticed this or is it just me and i need to sling me splitter.

i know the splitter works on both side cos if i undo the one feed the other comes on, i was just thinking if bpi setting would cos this interferance

This was going to be my next question.

so i can have 2 modems connected..one being a sub one and have a hacked one running too? will this cause any problems with my subbed modem (meaning get busted)?

got the installation guy to split the lines at the box coming into the house.
