Default Working modems not lasting

i have had a bit of success with a few 10mb macs today but none last longer than a few hours, one thing i noticed in the config files i get before it goes down is software upgrade filename"SB4100-0.4.9.6-SCM01-NOSH.hex.bin" which differs from the upgrade filename using a mac that puts you to the activation page.

Any ideas

Also does anyone know what ports are open when the modem goes to the virmin registration page?

your being blacklisted by the DHCP server as you have been detected as a clone I think this has to do with what stealth settings that you are currently using also I dont know if virmin are using SNMP to try and query the modem which could be a problem as most people have it disabled within hax so obviously they wont get the right values. as for reg page all ports are open you are just in a walled garden so you are allowed access to the vermin reg page and thats about it they do this with access control lists on a squid proxy as when you get a mac that gives reg page try browsing to Google this is one of googles sites you will get a squid access denied page. Il drop you an email this weekend m8 when I have had a chance to have a play with whats going on!
