Vermin have decided tonight to change the frequency's of the channels.

I did a factory reset and full power scan which brought the channels back.

I had a back up of my channel list which I then uploaded to my box which put the list back with the old frequencys...

Is there any way to upload the list without the frequencys or do I have to do that all again?

Doing what you already did will always give you back the wrong frequencies. Unless someone in your area uploads a .cdf for your channels then its the old reset/full scan/sort favourites routine unfortunately.

Thought there wasn't going to be an easy way round it...

Any ideas if theres a new STBM for the december firmware as apparantly you can't use it because of the new 12 favourites group rather then the 8 it had before?

Ive stuck with the september firmware becasue of the sorting channels side of things.

I'm using an EX5000PVR so I'm still on the firware from over a year ago. As far as your box is concerned I have no idea what firmware you will need.

Im ok with the firmwares, was just wondering if theres a new STBM (channel editor) for the new Dec 09 firmware.

AllI can suggest is to download the BigMaq toolbar and check in there for latest firmware. On my EX5000PVR, the DnUpMan application uploads firmware and enables you to edit channel listings. Either that or Voxer. Both are as good as each other.

Unfortunatly I can't use with DnUpMan or Voxer, EX7000HD uses a .tbn format and not the normal .cdf file format

Only one I can use is STBM but need a newer version as it doesnt support the latest firmware

Just spent 20 minutes or so hunting a solution to your problem. All I found out was that you can't edit using STMB because of the change in the number of the favourites.

All I can suggest is doing it manually through the box itself, rather than through the pc. If that's even possible of course.

Sorry I can't help more than that. Have you tried in the BigMaq toolbar?

Yeah ive had a look at the BigMaq and chatterbox.cc. The dates that the STBM were uploaded were before the latest firmware so hasn't been a newer version released by the looks of things...

Might just go back to the firmware that is compatible. Will take AGES to sort them on the box itself...
