Default Friend has a card, i want to know what it is

My friend just bought a cloned card from a guy at work that unlocks channels on his VPlus box. It was £40 and i would like to know exactly what it is and if i can update it if needed. I have experience with D-boxes but the thought of a card that unlocks channels while keeping the original box is appealing. I am thinking about getting one but i would just like to know a bit more about it. My friend doesn't know anything so no point asking him.

Cheers

What does it look like? Yes, these cards can be re-programmed when the premium channels no longer show. You say you have experience with DBoxes? You know like the fixes or keys you apply to get all the channels? Well these cards do exactly the same job once they are programmed correctly .

Probably a ROM10, possibly ROM11. Yes, you can read/program the card with a Phoenix programmer.

Thanks,

I will get a Phoenix programmer and try to source another card for myself. it will be hard to get the card as the guy selling can be a bit frosty.
