Default webstar 2100

unsure on what firmware is on this have tried to look for

infinite / haxorware / sigma nothing at all

no telnet, http://192.168.100.1 goes to the webstar page
tried port 1337 nothing

maybe some one can help.

unless its an early webby with the 3348 chip and its got sbmod or somthing then i would say you have just got an unflashed stock modem there or someone has changed the web gui no. to something else.

are you sure its been flashed.

and not a sub modem someone is still paying for or maybe due to go off

you need to explain more what you want to do with it
if you want to flash a new firmware to it
first you need to open it up to find what chip it has in the middle
lift the rubber feet off the bottom to find the star screws, undo them and pop it open

look a the big chip in the middle
see if it says BCM3349 or BCM3348

a bcm3348 is the same as a motorola sb5100
a bcm3349 is the same as a motorola sb5101, if its a 3349 its a newer type and you can flash Haxorware to it

you will need to make or buy a rs232 lead, and this connects to the little white block on the board that has 4 pins
