OK, duh, no channels etc.
1. After factory reset do you have to re-install the FW
2. Cant remember the symbol rate for the Leics area, any help?

or the text file for the channels would be nice

Must be a signal problem as a few other have said Leics is OK. I had to use a text file last time as I couldnt pick any transponders or channel up.

If anyone has the channel list for Leics Id appreciate it.

You dont have to reinstall the FW ...The symbol rate for you is 6887 ....you will have to look through this thread for a CDF,look through the oldest ones obviously for an up to date one CDF Files for the Eurovox

Tried a few but cant even see the files on the USB, Ill sort it somehow. Got a really weak signal though, something like 20% when trying to scan.

All sorted, signal suddenly kicked up to 90%.

This is probably a stupid questions but.....how do you do a factory reset on a ex1000sl ?.....do you need to connect to computer and load the firmware agen? or can you do it from box menu? thanks

ok i have fixed it. I just did a fast install....which is a powerscan...so this is all it takes for anyone with the same bx as mine. Also i only get 271 channels on 6887....should i be getting more?

I re-scanned my EX5000PVR yesterday in the Nottingham area and I only got about 270 or so channels. I think this is because the number of repeated channels has been reduced. There are only 2 or 3 BBC1 channels for instance. I bet you'll only watch a third of the channels anyway
