Default which box (if any) should I buy?

Sorry if this is posted in the wrong place, but I have just sold my Sky Hd box on ebay and was going to post off tomorrow. I came on line to look to buy a Eurovox Hd 7000 and have just seen about this Nagra 3.

Just a quick history, been paying for sky for 7 years when my hd box broke, so my mam said to try her virgin box in my telewest socket and lo and behold it was still switched on from 7 years ago.

So I decided to sell my Sky hd box and use the money to buy a cable box.

Would this be pointless now and should i hang onto my sky hd box

What about a satellite box?? Would this work and if so, which is best and is there anything special I would need like a card etc.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi kerry , indeed it would be pointless purchasing a new box , Card sharing will be your only option in a matter of weels , cant talk about it here as its illegal , however google has lots of info on it , therefore any new purchase would need networking capabilities , dreambox for example

Afraid you would be throwing good money away mate. There are quite a few Linux receivers which are all capable of CS, even some which are not Linux will also CS with a little effort on the part of the owner.

Regards Wez
