SB5101e stopped working?

My modem stopped working the other day. I tried a few new macs but it still didn't work. Is it just a case of trying until I find one that works or is there a new config code out?

hey mate was in same box as you, tried a few diff macs and it worked..make sure that with each mac that you try you also try the diff BPI settings...i had a 00:02 mac work with bpi doc 1.0..hope that helps

I've just downloaded DHCP Sniffer to scan for more MACS but it will only give me MACS, not Configs. How do I know which MACS are 20meg etc?

dont bother with 20meg macs at the moment cuz youll just get hassel...stick to 10megs and when you get a list of macs start trying them out...im sure you already know this but dont use macs from your own ubr(area) get them from a friends or relatives house.

Ok thanks. How do I know which ones are 10meg? Also, DHCP Sniffer, is not sniffing anymore? I click discover but nothing comes up? I have input a mac address at the top.

I thought the whole point of dhcpsniffer was that you COULD do the scan from your own house? unlike other dhcp sniffing apps....certainly has worked when sniffing from own home in the past (tho maybe changed these last few months - as trying to get my own modem back on at mo too?)
