i bought a eurovox ex500pvr from iwantabox couple o years back and had similar issue its a faulty reciever u have m8, contact seller and ask for a refund, as theres not much point gettin another box as if your not nagra 3'd alreadyu, you will be shortly

Hi,

I've Just bought the Eurovox EX1000 SL and have scanned all the channels and seem to have them when the menu comes up but so many of them are just unwatchable channels as the picture just keeps scattering.
Some channels are absolutely fine which makes me think it's not a wiring issue.
I'm sure something similar is on here but not sure what I'm looking for as I'm not the most technical.
This is for the Manchester area if this helps, any help is truely garateful.

If you can get whoever sold the box to you to give you a refund then you should. Your area has been converted to Nagra 3 (search for it, you'll find it) which means you've bought a rather shiny new doorstop as the box is no use now or in the future for watching free TV.

I hope you didn't pay a lot for it mate.
