mosc help please !!1

i have a mosc card that i can read perfectly fine in nagra but when i come to write to it i keep getting write failed it gets as far as resetting card, it does this 3 times then fails, does any one have any ideas i have tried nagra 4.0 and 4.1

Tried the basics mate?

wipe the terminals on the card, remove the hardware and connect it again?

what errors are we getting when writing?
a log would be nice?

What is your card read log?

pheonix serial or infinite usb?

Do you have your IRD and BK?


This may be a bit of a silly question, but is it the right ROM image you are trying to write ie. ROM11 image on a ROM10?

here is what i get when i read the card

log removed - please dont post logs containing hex strings - it encourages folks to post decryption keys onto the forum

im using an infinity usb in phoenix mode 3.68 i tried at first to write a rom 11 image but i got Error, ROM revision of card does not match loaded imagei have bk ird etc

Seems like a connectivity problem from card to Nagra

you using the Infinite 3.7 software by any chance??

If so, you can get the 3.6 software which is better at doing these cards in the download section. If it's not in the download [box . net] part, then my program TV Hack Pack 3.2b will be and the drivers are in there somewhere [the browse files button inside the program]

If your not using 3.7+ or this fails, try wiping the card altogether, then writing to it - just MAKE SURE your BK/IRD and read image is backed up somewhere safe! a backup is always needed!!

If it's subbed equiptment, just give up now - you shouldn't have started - we'll be sent new cards anyway so if your desperate to give it a try wipe, then write: look around the forums [search] for a way to wipe/reset
