sb5101e wont let me flash plz help!!!

hi there
got a sb 5101e which im trying to flash with haxor using schwarze katze and black cat lead. my lead works fine as ive just flashed a friends and thats is now online n fine. when i start the console it comes up as normal and tells me manufacturer broadcom n stuff but if i go to flash and detect it says no flash detected and in the memory part it just says lots of numbres n stuff but not the usual ones thats there any other time i flash one its the same gobletygook in the memory panel. i think i interuped a firmware upgrade and thats why its like this. is there anything i can do to get it to flash i have firmware and also some full 2mb dumps from sbhacker but just dnt know how to get it to flash anymore

go back on sbh and look up on toms jtag utilty and flash using that

yeh ive been told tht but i cant seem to find it anywhere is it a programme?? were can i download it from and do i need a special lead

yes its a programme & you need a blackcat lead to flash it with you can also use a usbjtag lead

go on sbh and look at the forum rooms and look for
usb jtag ptag serial and usb diag around there you will see (parallel jtag) blackat and also toms jtag, selcet toms and read 1st pinned post there and you will find it there. also there is some commands to flash there which you will need pinned there sumwhere, good luck

ok tnx guys ive finally got jtag utility installed. wen i start it and pick blackcat lead then type detect it tells me broadcom and other stuff then i typed: idram 9fc 10000 then enter

but it says bad command

how do i use it to flash my 5101e????

its a bit late to be posting it now, but there is a dll file plugin for the 5101e using schwarze katze you have to switch the files when flashing a 5101e, the file is included with the haynes cable modem guide.
sb5101e patch for blackcat
Just don't forget to back up your original file before copying the 5101 file over it
