Default Is this a result of N3 changeover?

Hello gents

West London, SV4 USB, some days ago some channels went black, yesterday some more have gone black, rescanning 'finds' all channels (altho many are double-found, annoyingly), but the ones that went black remain black. Keycode set to on after each scan, V.107 used but have tried with other firmware releases.

Is this the dreaded stage by stage channel switchover to N3 I keep reading about? If so, fair enough, had a good run, but one thing puzzles me - wouldnt the N3 changeover be preceded by the receipt of a new card? Have recieved no such thing, so could this loss of channels be some other (treatable) problem?

In hope<!-- google_ad_section_end --> <!-- / message -->

lots of channels have been moved to different frequencies, so only a rescan will get them. the ones that are black need deleting as the channel does not transmit/exist on that frequency anymore.

a factory default reset and rescan would remove all those dead channels

Hi, thanks for the reply - so you're saying some of the duplicated channels which I've been deleting off may in fact be the missing (black) channels that have been moved to a different frequency - so I need to go thru the lot and rename as appropriate (if I can find the missing ones among the duplicates)?
