Blakey, apparently the Linksys routers are easy to set up for DD-WRT, but they do cost a bit more. I bought mine for £30ish(The WRT54G) and Ill be installing DD-WRT on it to turn it in to a bridge(its cheaper than 4 home plugs!) and Ill probably be using VOIP if I can get it for free lol.
Another great firmware out there to try is "tomato" With the linksys routers, you can jtag them back to life if they are ever bricked. You probably could do with the Belkin ones as well, but they're not all that popular in all fairness

DDWRT is a quality bit of fw m8 I honestly suggest that you give it another go, it is easily possible to setup as a dual WAN Configuration by putting another port in the same vlan as the wan port if you want a quick guide let me know, as for wan ip address if you go to the status tab and hit wan then click DHCP renew it will get a WAN address. If anyone is interested I can screen shot some settings pages?

Ive been messing around with dd-wrt on a linksys 54gs v5 for a couple of days now, all I can say is it brilliant, I recon you should give it another go blakey_8, I am currently using it as a wireless repeater, it has doubled the range of the base router, you can aso use the 4 lan ports on the linksys at the same time.

I only use the router as a router lol. I have one desktop PC, two laptops and a PS3 hooked up to it wirelessly and that's good enough for me.
