Try Opera mate the fastest browser for me anyway, worth a try at least.

The trouble with DDoS protection is that it will always involve blocking some IP's that are fine - happened with the first service we tried as well.
If someone is on a static IP then I can at least get that whitelisted, but dynamic ranges are more difficult. Sometimes the site may seem slow simply because of ISP and routing issues, but most times it should be fine to access normally through most IP's. Any issues should not be browser dependent, though - but if there are issues with one browser over another, may be the case that you need to empty your DNS or reset lower security settings on the browser playing up. HTH. |

Thanks for the suggestion Kerrywez , However i am not really interested in installing a 3rd browser , would just prefer to get to the bottom of the issue , as stuff like this bugs me ,
Anybody agree that i would be correct in assuming its got to be some issue with Techwatch server Regards |

would be curious to know if visitor numbers have dropped since ddos attack, as i , probably along with many others believed the site must have been closed down regarding a legal case. Only for a mate informing TW was still on line , i wouldn`t have tried using firefox

Visitor numbers are actually pretty steady - there's been no significant drop in traffic.
When we tried the first DDoS service there *was* a big problem with a lot of normal traffic being blocked - however, the newer service seems to be far less prone to blocking member IPs - certainly that I know of - though there remain a few issues I'm happy to try and correct where I can. I know the server has slowed a few times - a couple of small technical issues, plus a few DDoS attacks that were unable to take the site down for most people. |
