Default Loss of some channels

hello everyone,

i am in the teesside area and can't access some channels on my starview box, most importantly some of the sky sports channels!
They do not seem to be getting a signal. Any ideas on how to change
the frequency to be able to access.
Any help/advice much appreciated.

thanks

The problem channel must be deleted first (even if they say bad or scrambled channel)
Remember to turn Emu ON
Try a factory reset and then rescan from a direct feed (no splitter) Remember to turn Emu ON

If just deleting problem channels try
Try Menu - Installation - Manual Scan - Down Frequency =000000 - Network Scan =Enable (R/L Arrow on remote) wait a moment press OK

If you have a SV4 make sure you have the latest firmware, as even with a factory reset all channels will be there but some with still show a black screen. SS1 for example

problem is Jonpc since virgins meddling over the last few days 1.07 doesn't appear to do its job properly and peeps have had to upgrade to 1.12 to get there channels back.So although i agree with the old advice there's no way round it if you want all channels back.

If you was anything like me Martin,it was a busy day yesterday.
wot with mates boxes and the panic that erupted on another forum.
Shame in a way that its coming to an end,not so much because of the free tv(hardly watch it)but the messing with all the different types of boxes when they go pears etc has been interesting for the best part.Ah well time to find a bstard of a sat box i reckon
