ok, obviously i cant change the docsis settings to my existing modem. (see thread how to modify sb5100 with SIGMA-X Version 1.06 to 20meg? ) so now i have decideded to buy a new SB5101e.

But before i buy i just want to know 1 important thing.....CAN I STILL GET 20 MEG? im 100% sure have 20 meg mac's but i just want to be sure the new modem i am buying with HAXORWARE 1.1 REV 39 with the correct DOSIS+BPI settings will not keep re-booting.

pls answer my 1 cruicial question, thanks

well i had a list of about 150 macs i got off a mate some months ago which most worked after testing about 3 months ago,but since vm started messing most of them get the registration page(grrrr) but i did find 2 of them working and on 20mb..i also use haxor-rev39 and euro-docsis and bpi of 1.0.the macs started 00-02-8a and cant seem to get much joy out of the 00-d0 ones.

just to add,have a 5101e and a 250ambit and both get the 20meg with the same mac so as long as your mac is good you should be ok.

i have a 5100 and still use 20 meg no problem.
