hmm might go for the easy op and bolt it to the chimney and see who moans as there are a few dish round here which are on the chimneys.

I could always take it down if the council knock the door...

thought chimneys and big sat dish`s was a no-no , read stories of somebodies chimney being found half mile away , with dish still attached

Im not going any higher than it is a now, it will sway to much in the wind.
Hoping to set it up and drop it down bit by bit so I dont have to have it to high.

Well, if it does sway too much, all is not lost. For one you an replace the T with another K, also you can brace the K's if necessary, and then you could change to a 3 inch diameter pole instead of a 2 inch one. But see how it goes. I think you will be fine though. What size dish did you get?

1m Gibertini will be sitting at the top of that pole nice and light good job really as its 6ft from the gutter to the top of the pole.

Seen worse, light is good, but wind loading is the same as a 1m steel.

2" thick steel pole is all I could find, dont know where to look for 3" thick pole.
