hi all tryin to upgrade to hax via telnet but when i get to this bit
cd /ip
ipconfig 1 release
y

i press y to carry on and it says unknown command

??? any help plz

when i have upgraded to hax before i just set ip open tftp sever and hyper with max and enet in an press p when told then flash it that way??

I've come across this before and got round it by using Tera Term,however I only use this method of upgrading on "unbrickable" modems such as Webbys as it is a bit unpredictable.

Just skip that whole section mate. IMO releasing IP1 is not required

ive tryed it still get same errors i dont neet 232 connected do i ?

Sounds like current image is fubar mate, 232 only way, use a 2mb

there all workin tey got infinite on so im gonna leave them as they are just fancided a challenge to upgrade them via telnet lol.....why fix it wen there workin lmao im using one now hehehe

I mean the console section of the image is fkd...so commands not working.

But yeah if it ain't broke..

upgrade it to rev39 through the webgui, ive tested this on a good few and they work fine, DO NOT TOUCH mouse or keyboard when you press UPLOAD, until it shows up done
