Default Eurovox max V in lanarkshire, ex TW area...

hi guys. like everyone else my box has been down for just over a week, i had started to lose the skysports then eventually everything was gone.

so far i have tried doing a powerscan. then i tried deleting all channels and doing a factory reset and a powerscan with still no joy. i have been looking through the thread started by ace007 and gerryg and i have tried a few of the things mentioned there.

the box has never been flashed, anytime it has gone down i have just input the keys via the remote. at the moment i habe no channels at all and when i try to autoscan it says 'no transponders to scan'

can anyone help? thanks in advance!!

It sounds like you're scanning on the wrong symbol rate. If you can find your location in this list look for the last four digits. That's the symbol rate. For example, I'm in Nottingham so that reads 6887, which is a symbol rate of 6.887. You need to be scanning on the correct one or there will be no transponders to find.

Hope that helps.

It also has to be said that if your not a cable company subscriber then the feed to your house might have been got at by the cable company, even perhaps cut off ...if you do subscribe then of course ignore this post ...
