Default First sat box technomate 500

Hi everyone i cant wait to get my new tm 500 it should be here in a few days and cant wait to start playing with it. What im wondering is how you connect it to your pc do you just youse flash fxp like a dbox and can you change the image on the box. Ive looked for a user manual on the technomate web site but cant find one.

Ive got my tm 500 and im well pleased with it mind you i think it will take me a month to put the channels in some kind of order lol

If you haven't found it already this may help How to flash a TM500/600 Image

You can use DCC to edit your bouquets. Or there are some available for download via the blue button on some images.

Ive got the ur image on it but i can see i have lots to learn lucky im keen. I was wondering can you use flash fxp through a cross over cable straight to your pc or do you have to go through a router ? .

you can use bouquets from dm500's too.

i have one the gf did if needed, just for 28e

Yes you can, some of the programs you might use will need to be told they are using a crosover cable rather than a router.

yeah, you will have too as i dont think a connection without a router does dhcp

set the nic card to 192.168.1.1 and the box to .10
