connecting my dbox.
Hi can some one please tell me a easy step by step guide on connecting my dbox2 with a null cable i have been trying everythink but cant get my pc to find the dbox2. is there a way to test the modem in the dbox2 to see if it`s working.
(sagem dbox2 with Sportster PRO if that help`s.) Thanks... |

If you want to FTP to the dbox you need either a crossover ethernet cable or a normal ethernet cable and connect through a router. You only need a null modem cable to flash an image with IFA (Image Flashing Assistant)

Have you used the XP mediasensing patch and are you connected with an ethernet cable to the PC?
It's best to directly connect the PC to DBox with a crossover cable. Set your PC IP address to 192.168.100.100 turn off all firewall and security software, then use IFA. Let me know if you have a different configuration or other problems ![]() |
