Hi, Can anyone help have bought a new LG Flatron for the kitchen and now my sky tv link won't work in the bedroom. Plugged the old tv back in (ariel lead only no power lead)and hey presto it works again. Any help would be vey welcome.

Does the LG Flatron specifically have an Analogue tuner? Without that, the analogue RF out from the Sky box cannot be received.
A very few TVs are being built without the ability to receive analogue broadcasts (as these are all due to shut down by 2012) so if you need the ability to receive locally-remodulated programmes do check the TVs specs before purchase. If you specify to the retailer that is what you need, they would then be obliged to only sell you a suitable set.

I don't see the relevance of whether the new TV has an analogue tuner or not, as it the Sky TV link in the bedroom that is not working.

Unfortunately, however, I also don't know why the TV link isn't working.

Unless the new TV is knocking out the DC supply to the remote eye, does it have an LED on it, and is it lit?

Can't see the relevance either and haven't seen a DVB-T only screen yet.

Can you clarify which room the sky receiver is in.

What way is the Sky receiver connected to the new LG tv? Ie scart of RF signal?
If RF then which RF socket on the Sky receiver? RF1 or RF2?

Also what Model of LG is it?
