hi i need help, my remote for my sagem dbox2 is not recognised by the box anymore, think settings have been changed,ie not default remote. how do i get back into menu/settings mode to change . total newbie at this stuff.any help is appreciated

You cannot set a "default" remote for the box. Have you checked the batteries? Do any LEDs light up on the front of the box when you press a button on the remote?

yeah remote working-tried camera trick ,n lights flash when buttons r pressed both on remote and on front of box but still no response from box,ie doesn't do anything.even on/off doesn't work

sagems have separate ir board connected with ribbon cable
unplug box take lid off check cables connections { only do this with power off blow board otherwise }

And use the on screen virtual Remote...................Paul

cheers m8 looks like box is dead now got no channels n wont even boot by pressing on/off and up together.looks like dreaded 3.7 or nagra 3 problem

just reflash it with IFA and a crossover cable ............Paul
