Hi, trying to load software on to ex1000 i just received, but all i am getting is waiting for the response of your receiver. Any advice & help would be grateful, thanks.

Thanks martin, had alook through the threads and got as far as switching the box off and on a few times before it kicked in and starting downloading, but every time it got to 90% of writing it comes up download failed. i have attempted this 5 times now, any help.

this message is normally associated with trying to flash with the wrong firmware
what firmware are you trying to flash with

EDIT : if you are using the correct firmware chances are you have a cloned box

autosort my channels i have the cable and the area pdf

the latest firmware for the EX1000SL is UFL EX1000SL 24-02-09 DARX.zip there is also a fav nosort version either will do

you can get them from our downloads section http://www.techwatch.co.uk/forums/25...oad-links.html
copy and paste the eurovox link into your browser and the file you need is in the EX1000SL folder

these files are not to be used on clone boxes

Hi Smoggy, I have the right firmware, convinced the box is faulty. Will be sending back for a replacement. Thanks guys for all your help.
