just bin told that you can connect a motorised satellite system to a cable modem somehow and receive all saturday 3pm kick offs live, eg canal+ showtime etc. Does anyone know if this does work and if so how you do it? I would be most grateful for any positive feedback.

some one's been blowing smoke up your a**e mate.
there are some feeds that show some games free to air but what your talking about is not possible. thats like hooking your microwave to your telly and expecting the results to be free sky tv.

this page here will show you every channel that has a match on ( those in red are FTA )

i don't see why it should be moved to the cable modem section, the question is more about the capabilities of motorised satellite that cable modems.

This probably refers to card sharing, something we don't really discuss, and using a paid server, also something we don't recommend.
Did the person also happen to mention the spiderbox?
