it just says fail on box when i go to put the new flash on it as anyone else having the same problems as anyone got a new flash as im trying 4.01 is that the lastest one

I have had no experience with this box apart from what I have read.

as far as I'm aware v4.01 is the latest loader and v3105_08Dec2008.bin is the latest flash file (I've also seen a .bin file dated the 21/12/08)

Have you tried a factory reset,and then trying the firmware update?

i managed to flash with the usb put the flash on the hd but now got no channels signal is good but when i scan nothing comes up

has the box worked previously
are you scanning on the correct provider
