so there now things are getting clarified,
@ fringe, so for you when you scan, you pick up macs with configs next to them; for me when i scan not brute forcing i get macs with no config next to them. @ sr20, when i did leave dhcp force on for the whole night it found lots of macs but not one has config name next to it. when you scan do you have config name next to mac? if answer no, then am i right to understand from what you are saying that all i need to do after i scan long time and pick up lots of macs is write down the 00:02 ones and try them in another ubr even though they have no config file name next to them? or if answer is yes, then how comes in my area when i scan and im definately scanning properly i dont get config names next to my macs? thanks. were almost there. |

@ fringe, yes im definately connected directed but i believe i have now found answer to this thread. thank you to all.
@ sr20, thank you very much you have answered my thread. so guess mac scanning does still work people. just the macs you pick up no longer show config names next to them. @ fringe, be prepared scan as much as possible while you can still see the mac config name next to it as it will save you alot of time when your area macs no longer show config names next to them. and by the way im in east london near dagenham. |

no wonder im getting nowhere with the macs i get, in another thread someone said dont use sniffer for to long as it "flags" problems, but i can get 10/20 no probs in about half an hour, although they are all 14 16 and some 26's, and there were 2 that started with a 1A:?? first time i've saw these, are these normal macs as well.

'Don't use sniffer for long' no, that can be ignored...incorrect info. Not sure which ones are d10/d11 though, you'll have to find that out yourself. |
