hi ive got 4 bricked ambit 250 modems cant get anything in hyperterminal or console unlocker or softjtag anyone help

i think ive now bricked my third box i am in soft jtag started writing bootloader and it stoped at 120 kb then says error continue or quit i continue and cant rewrite havent unpluged yet hope for some help plzzz thanks dean

I think if power jack is plugged into modem, you should be able to restart pc/power down MAX232 and try again. As long as power is uninterrupted, it cannot restart modem/attempt to boot. AFAIK

Quite sure he's unplugged it and killed it by now...but if you do this in the console using 232 when it happens, you can then start up softjtag again and re-write the BL:

I had this on hyperterminal the other day , i pressed 3 and 0 and it write the firmware then bricked it , I thought it was the bootloader , but its the one i always use.

Any suggestions?
