Unfortunately I dont have one in my bag of bits

But, for your info its an Infineon device - OffLine SMPS current mode controller with integrated 650V CoolMOS switch.

ICE2B265 datasheet pdf datenblatt - Infineon Technologies AG - Off-Line SMPS Current Mode Controller with integrated 650V/800V CoolMOS ::: ALLDATASHEET :::

You can get them from DigiKey for about £1.23 each but there p+p is £12 unless you spend more than £50

http://dkc3.digikey.com/PDF/UK091/P0743.pdf

You could try contacting Mash at TMC. He may know how to get hold of these devices.

Many thanks, yes thats what I mean when I say stupid prices, I only need 1 and like you say postage is £12, so thats why i prefer to buy someones broken KV and take one from a kv psu.
I don't bother trying to contact mash cos he never replies to emails but if and when he does he finaly replies about 3 months. later
Thanks anyhow coder, I'll keep searching til I get one.
By the way the dvd I want to fix is a Pacific DVD (1002MK2) Slim Model.

No minimum order is required.

Orders with a value below £15.00 Shipping and Handling Charge will be £4.99.

The price of £4.52 seems high but the total incl p+p is still less than Digikey offers (£9.51 as opposed to £13.23 from Digikey)
