Hi there, i do php programming, so i need to explain, the php way way n3 will never be decrypted in my opinion.
EVERY BODY KEEPS THINKING, THAT SOME GOD PROGRAMMER ,GOING TO DECRYPT THE NEW N3 ENCRYPTION SORRY NO NO NO........ MY OPINION NEVER......(((NOT WHILE I AM ALIVE))) In php programming, we got a simple function that allows us, to encrypt text and numbers. The power of the code, what encrypts is md5 in php programming. example. $sentence="myboxdoesnotworkanymore"; $encrypted=md5($sentence); echo $encrypted; ?> Result in php would be all jumbled characters and numbers 64 times.... So now $sentence becomes sdkrognfhr12h4h5id8snd8gnt94nc <<64 times jumbled up classed as encrypted.... ((unreadable/understandable to human eyes)) First thing, before we go on, there are websites that claim to decript md5 php encription, but it only for common words, so if the word encrypted was GOD, becouse it a common password name ,then yes the website will guess it useing the enctiped raw 64 random letters. but if the word was something more better like as used earlier myboxdoesnotworkanymore then it can not be decrypted from the md5 web site. As time went on, people got fed up about the md5 description web sites, and as php got more powerful, a new function to strengthen the md5 encryption came along called SALT. example. $sentence="myboxdoesnotworkanymore"; $encrypted=md5(salt($sentence)); echo $encrypted; ?> now the $sentence encrypted out put is fjhfjshrhewjk1233213923782 <<128 random letters. but there no web site to claim it can be decrypted anywhere, no matter what in the $sentence variable. That means, the new salt and md5 combined together, can not be decrypted at all. This is the same prince able as n3, can not be decrypted at all. so when you get or here or read, that someone has been given a new card, from there tv box provider, it means 1 week later ,in that area no one will be de scrambling any tv stations.((watch any think on there box in that area except channel 1 - 5)) when it gone, it gone your have to pay....... if anybody thinks tv channels will ever be de scrambled again(( don't bother it not going to be there any more forget it!. remember as time goes on ,so does the power of encryption ,so were never catch up again sad but true.... |

just a thought, probably not a sensble thought , but here goes, if the new virgin cards can decrypt nagra3, as is the case, why cant anybody else use that same technology? for instance a virgin engineer who has worked on the introduction of nagra3

ha ha this is funny, i don't think people try and decrypt tv channels with that method mate, from what i understand the original card is reverse engineered and keys are read off the card...
why you think we glitch cards lol.. not just find an exploit like injection vector and use overflow to break card code lol.. I don't know if you have a full understand of Nargra, but keys are required to open channels and their is no function(sub routine in perl) some one can write to just magically open channels lol.. this is not cracking ![]() o btw my background is from telecoms (3G, GSM and atm LTE), i work on ciphering, etc which is also a kind of encryption... Nagra can be broken, with a lot of trial and error i think.. I don't completely understand how glitching developed and if u try and glitch a card now will it block the card (who knows) only devs who **** round with this know any ways not flaming, just think its better to be 100% sure before u post and mis inform people.. Please correct me if i am wrong ... i'll happily acceptThanks AJ |

To program you must be very exact with your typing and the OP is not that, the amount of mistakes in that post make me think that there is no way he could program anything. Just my thoughts for what they are worth. Anyway there is no way you could possibly compare his methods with those of N3, just not the same thing, if it were than simple then the providers would not be paying a fortune to the encryption providers.
There is no way we can say that N3 will never be hacked, but from what has happened, or rather the lack of anything happening, there is not going to be any hack soon, if at all. I would be a very happy person if there were to be a hack, as would all satellite members, but we have come to understand that to be all panicky and unrealistic is not going to make anything happen any sooner that it might happen. Regards Wez

Nagra 3 is a completely different ball game. Its game over - you aint going to be watching free tv once your area is nagra 3'd
