I found a europlug converter on the old hifi and I've just managed to install a 60gb harddrive i found in an old laptop just goes to show it can infact be worth holding on to some junk! I keep promising myself i'll have a right good clear out I cant be doing with alll the clutter probably need a builders skip!

awrite paddy gers fan here to help out u dont need a masive dish a normal dish will get 13 deg east satellite best channels for spl games are al jazzera / polsat / sky calcio are all on hotbird 13 no need trying to hit faraway sats with a massive dish its quite simple

gers fan here to help u lol u dont need a massive dish or try to hit sats faraway u just need to hit hotbird 13 with a normal sized dish as al jazzer / polsat and sly calcio are on that sat most old firm games are on these channels

Very noble of you mate, would you have been so friendly on Sunday? I am not getting at you mate, I am a Gers fan too. He will need a card at over £1000 for Sly Calico though.

Dish allignment 80cm Motorised

Here is what I am thinking since my Longitude position is at 3.4991o my nearest due south satellite will be at 5.0W Atlantic Bird 3 so this is the bird I should be ligning my dish upto to begin with does that sound right guys?

Should I go ahead and install an image PLi Jade3 or Gemini 4.7 or wait until I got everything installed up and running?

My final piece of the setup arrived today my 10ft pole! Looking at it lying in the hallway it looks like it might be a bit overkill but I suppose it gives me the most options I can always cut it down!

I am now up and running with fta channels at 13E and 28.2E installed the PLi Jade image which i am quite happy with. I am now looking at which card to buy any suggestions? On a limited budget! I was hoping for some 3pm football so polsat and aljazeera appear to cover some games from CP I know the next few games from CP are on Polsat Futbol though it looks like Polsat is a headache due to the cards being paired to Nagra cam if you know different please let me know. I am thinking i should go for the most desireable card i can afford since payservers are to be avoided and I really want to unleash this boxes potential.
