Default Question for the satellite community...

Please excuse my ignorance but I have been a member of the forum a while now checking up on the 'cable box' section (nuff said!) for sometime now.

I just dont understand the satellite side of things. . . . . .if its not VM or Sky, what is it all about???

Any starter points would be appreciated. With the new nagra due out, I feel it might be something worth looking into.

I would suggest searching the satellite section as your question has been asked many times and you are sure to find what you need.

It must be pointed out that you won't get the same programming as you do on the VM box or Sky UK you will only get the free to air channels only. Also that much of the foreign programming that is free is not in english but in the domestic language of that country.
