My cable is provider by my landlord. I would like to get a DVR, but since I dont really pay for cable I can't do that. Anyone know a way I can record programs without personally paying for a cable service? I dont have a phone line so Tivo is out.

You have internet access right? Do you have broadband access? TiVo just released a new standalone receiver that has dual-tuners, and also has built-in ethernet so you can do all your guide updates over the internet.
I believe it is called the Series 2 DT. |
