Yes,

I thought that might be the case but my mac is like this 00:**:8b:**:26:3f ending in a F I can't do a G as it won't allow me so how do I change this letter. Hidden some of my mac for security reasons.

00:02:8b:**:26:3f

MACs ending F are an odd case as:
Decimal goes 0123456789 (it's base 10)
HEX goes 0123456789ABCDEF (it's base 16)

MACs are HEX.

As with decimal and binary, when you get to the end of the run, you increment the next most LSB and go back to '0' for the actual LSB.

LSB = Least significant bit / byte.

So in your case:
HFC = 00:02:8b:**:26:3f
USB = 00:02:8b:**:26:40

OK,

Ill give that a shot and see how it goes but I have noticed that you have changed the last 2 digits on my mac. I thought it was only the last digit not the last 2 digits?

Sorry to be a pain am just learning.

Like i say mate, last digit was an 'f'. There's no 'g' in HEX so you have to increase the next smallest digit to add 1.

Like if you add 1 to 39 in normal decimal
