Default nokia 9600s

trying to revive my nokia 9600 dvb 2000 software ,havnt used it in a while,attempts to start up shows "init x1 then init x2 then goes to er:vmc1" i tried to return to original software but no response ,how do i fix problem? thanks

satsid should be able to help i do have one of thease boxes but do not know to much about it sid is a master on them

Hi m8,i have nokias but old firmware on,ie overflow noneman.Loading firmware i use to use win98.dvb edit i think i used,have to dig out a old laptop to check for sure,as tools are still on that.Dvb Commander & picbined are also things you need to look out for.If you want to clean the nokia out,your need a BDM interface.Hope this points you the right way.

Hi m8,i think i use to hold down the 3 buttons on front of nokia receiver.So unplug first, then hold all 3 buttons on front of reveiver,plug in while holding all 3 buttons.See if that works.God its many years since iv done this.

tried holding in buttons but no joy,dont have a BDM interface and its probably not worth the expense,thanks sid

Ok get picbind & re load firmware,use win98 for this.This should work,if not only way will be with a BDM interface to clean like new.
