Hi all

I have installed the most up to date patch from technomate web site but is there any other type of patches for this receiver.

Not much these days

All the really interesting stuff went secure a couple of years ago.

Not very much. There's very little open. You might find the odd thing here and there, not really up to date on this type of stuff.

DigiTV on 1W is the main one, and we are expecting to losed them in April.

Theres some of the Viaccess 2.6 stuff open on 13E atm, but its a pretty dull selection of channels scrambled in that. Dunno if the V2.6 is available on the other patches.

Not sure about the 6800, but the latest patch for the 6900 is supposed to allow CS, I gave it installed and have entered all that is needed for a share, but not tried it yet, as there is no connection to my wireless router where it is, as I would need to hard wire the box to the router, have not figured out how to share the router wirelessly yet.

My reply is NOT from experience but the latest 6900 patch does facilitate CS. In practice it's not perfect, the affect being an intermittent freezing of picture which I have been told is a flaw in the 6900 not being able to process the info correctly/fast enough. Not sure how true this is. Maybe new patches in the future will correct this.
