Default New Modem...Cisco 2100

Neighbour had a new sub yesterday. Got this new modem. Its a Cisco 2100. BCM3349 based, no apparent SPI chip, or MAX232 header. 48 pin TSOP present. Think it is an MX TSOP. Mac starts with 00:25

Just basic bread and butter package, nothing fancy...

Looks like next big thing. Should be piece of cake tho to flash new firmware etc in theory once someone figures out Jtag/MAX232 points.

Not turned it on yet so unsure what FW is like. Will post later about firmware.

Anyone shed any light on it?

Google it mate. It's just a rebranded Webstar, which is a rebranded SA, which is a SB5101e clone. FW will likely be usual Moto-based.

Code:

If in doubt, google.
