What type of motor do you have and is it new? It is difficult to say what is wrong when we are not fully aware what your set up is.

Thanks, so at least we can rule out ware in the motor. Have you got your lat and long in the receiver correctly? It should be the same position the motor goes to no matter what way it is turning, so there has to be some small thing wrong with your settings I would have thought or the dish is not set up right on your due south sat. Whatever it is I am sure that when some of the installers see the thread they will have some idea what it is you need to do.

Regards Wez

Have you tried resetting the motor ?

From the reciever try the "Goto 0" command, and if that dosen't work try resetting the motor itself, there should be a pinhole on the motor marked reset.
Are you using DisEQc 1.2 or USALS to control the motor ?

What satellite did you set the dish up on? You seem to be getting very far east, which would make me think that you will not get that far west and that might be the problem with your motor.

Isn't the 2600 a H-H motor ? In which case it should go to about 75 degrees either way, assuming the dish dosen't hit a wall or anything.

It could be the software limits on the reciever that need altering, or the hard limits on the motor if both recievers stop at the same point.
