Default EX5100 PVR lost channels today

Have lost all movie channels (except Film4 and Film4+1), have also lost all ESPN channels. Have all other main channels.

Have reset factory settings and then done a Deep scan.

Kirklees (Huddersfield) area.

In no better position. Any help/advice.

Put my new Virgin Smartcard in the other day but this can't affect it 'cos only lost my channels today.

Thanks

Nagra 3 - a new encryption method which nobody has ever managed to hack and therefore renders non-official boxes useless/obsolete.

Yes and soon there will be only council channels (bare minimum 1-5 etc).

Nagra 3 has been running for more than two years and is still secure. It's subscription time for everyone. Luckily I don't watch TV but when the modems change it's gonna be sub time for me too.

It's been a great run though and it's places like these that helped me learn so much. Thank you TW.

Once your area is fully converted to Nagra 3, your Eurovox will show only Free To Air channels (essentially terrestrial 1-5). The phrase is "it'll be useful as a doorstop" !!!!!

sorry peaky - you beat me to it

Sorry, but same question for me and I also have a EX5100 PVR.

I lost all my channels, bar the free ones, around end of February and I now live in Borhamwood (Postcode - WD6) and the same box works fine in Osterley. Does anybody know if the Nagra 3 upgrade is now covering my new area (WD6) or indeed does anybody have a list of Areas already covered?

Does this explain the new virgin cards through the door?
