Default pace 2000

hi have a pace 2000 but suddenly all the channels are now mixed up bbc 1 comes on channel 52.check the EM all signals are fine its says software CR1 hardware version 2.18.when i opened the box up it has a wire conected to one chip to another but it doesnt update.any advice

remove the wire and force an update, you might just be lucky,

ive cut the wire it just comes up with an old NTL image and radio channel comes on.however channels 1-5 do work if i can find them lol as their all mixed

force an update then. think it will only update in pure or c+w thou, IF your lucky

plug in while holding standby, then press the buttons for the guide, tv ect (cant remember what order they go in) but its bottom to top, then hit ok

ie, power up with standby
bottom, next one up, next one up again, top, ok

Just to add, once you have pressed the buttons in the correct order, the box will show 4321 on the front. If this is shown, press OK and the box should then update .

tried to force an update alot of numbers appeared the it stopped and said 'PLYD' and now jus keeps flashing with EAAS and LAIT on box and nothing else working

all working fine now mate thanks for your help, one other thing the wire that was connected from one chip to another inside the box should i leave it off.im guessing that was for the older software 3.6 preventing it from updating?
