Quick question how long do you tipically get out of a modded modem??

Well if it's someone you know (friend, subbed, different UBR) then a little drop through of a tenner now and then through their letterbox might keep it going a lil bit longer .

at the mo m8 ive been on one on for about three years (also have a subbed 20mb line)

Have you been dropping a tenner through this persons letterbox now and then?.

Hehe that is good going. I've had to switch a couple of times but they last long and luckily I've always had 20mb. I've never had the urge to even think about 50mb. I'd be happy with 10mb to be honest but if I can have a 20mb I'll take it.

I mainly use for surfing, Youtube and online gaming. I only download at night through Newsgroups and that's not even a lot. So I use it, I don't abuse it.

I know who's mac I'm cloning, so that helps......

Never had a mac issue since i started using that one, rather than one that had been sniffed.
