Default Mobile Internet dongle

Please can anyone give me a bried guide on how to hack a t mobile or o2 dongles to get free internet, what am I suppose to buy and what settings am I suppose to use.

If you go to certain threads regarding this they dont explain how to do this, I wish people were more straight forward rather than playing politics.

Please guys help me out here.

Don`t they take sim cards? Therefore how do you get free internet on them? I mean, you can only get the same services that you would get using a handset right? Dongles are just USB GSM/3G phones without the "phone" bit (screen, keypad, mic, speaker etc) right?

Unlocking dongles is just so you can use a sim from any network, just like how you would unlock a phone...

Or am I completely missing something? Can you hack sim cards to give you free internet/calls? New one on me if you can...

There was a hack for 3 a while back, but as fat as I know that has been blocked now, there was also a way of getting a year free unlimited BB with an O2 I am not sure if it is still working or not. If you search you will find two really big threads about this matter.

the o2 ones are about £50 on ebay and that comes with a 12 month bolt on but o2 dont like it if you use it out of an iphone and will close it down if they find out..
as mentioned the three one was closed down... but they do have a £5 a month internet option so for £60 for a year its ok,,, £20 for a dongle and a quid for a sim,,, £81 in totoal and thats for 12 months net.
bargain

To my knowledge and as the rumours go... the 3 dongles can no longer be hacked.

Seems iphone sims are the way to go, but it'll get closed down if you use it in anything other than a iphone for an extended period.

Looks like a firmware mod and iphone IMEI being entered into the dongle FW is the true way forward? It's like MAC cloning but for the dongle world.

cant seem to find any firmware out there (yet!!!) - but i'm sure it'l turn up sometime soon but maybe untill such time then the iphone sim seems best option... although i think its more to do with data usage than whether it is in a phone or dongle dangle

do you know if any firmware is available yet by any chance??
