Default Mac Mini

Have any of you considered purchasing a Mac Mini? The smallest (and cheapest) of the Macs they seem like a decent home computer. You have to supply your own monitor, keyboard etc, which is kind of a bummer...Anyone have one?

Not bought one, but it's simply too bog-standard a piece of kit to really be useful, unless you already have lots of peripherals to play with I guess. Seems more a gimmicky product than anything else. Or am I just being too cynical.

I used to think it was pretty appealing, and I am still thinking of getting one to muck around with a bit, but I agree with some of the comments Brian had on it.

Apple keeps trying such oddball stuff anymore. I love Macs but sometimes I wish Apple would put their energy in more things than laptops which look like frisbees!
