Default Overspill

Well i guess thats what you call it... i have to starviews diff models but i have recently noticed that i can hear other channels coming through on the audio in the back ground... Could anyone shed some light on how to get rid of them or what i could do to prevent.

Its unlikely to be audio breaking through from other channels on the cable as its all digital. The box only actually runs software on one stream at once so no audio is reconstructed for other channel streams.

Much more likely is that you have a problem either with your TV or the way you've connected the scart.

A lot of tv's seem to have very poor isolation between normal tuner input and the scart input so if the tv is tuned to an analogue channel (or getting something from a videa etc via the aerial) then you may hear it very faintly in the background.

The same could be true of any video recorder/DVD player connected into the loop

Basically, the audio is likely to be coming from elsewhere rather than from the Starview's. Disconnect everything into the TV except the Starview and see what you get !
